Using BLUBO and its dating features

Who can create an account

You must be at least 18, legally able to agree to these terms and permitted to use BLUBO under applicable law. Use an account and email address you control. Give accurate eligibility information and do not impersonate someone, use their photographs or evade an account restriction.

To participate, sign in, enter your date of birth, add your name, city, intention and at least one photo, and accept the current participation terms. Dates of birth showing an age under 18 are refused. Extra photos, interests and profile prompts are optional. You do not wait for staff approval to start participating once these steps and the automatic file checks are complete.

Identity verification is optional for participation. Your date of birth is self-declared, not independently verified. Members without completed checks remain unverified. This release does not display a Verified badge. Account suspensions, blocks and content removal still apply.

Your account and choices

Protect your credentials and report suspected unauthorised access. BLUBO support will not ask for your password or a one-time authentication code in a message. The member privacy notice explains account processing and your available choices.

Agreeing to these terms is not blanket permission for optional analytics, advertising, marketing or a sensitive verification process. You may decline optional analytics or push notifications. You can continue managing a private account without accepting expanded dating participation now. A separate verification notice and agreement are required before any enabled sensitive verification capture. Do not treat a connection or profile reveal as consent to an offline meeting, sexual activity, financial contact or sharing information outside BLUBO.

Connecting and sharing

Use accurate profile information and respect audience choices. A connection requires mutual interest. Chat opens after the other member accepts the Chat request. Where Privacy Shield applies, both members must agree to reveal their profiles before Chat. Chat also checks that the encrypted session is ready. Either member can end contact; no subscription overrides that decision.

When available, Moments can be shared with compatible eligible members, connections or selected connections. Submission is subject to moderation. Moments expire after 24 hours; choose their audience deliberately. Expiry and withdrawal restrict ordinary access but cannot remove information another person already saw or copied. BLUBO's privacy notice explains reports and records that may remain.

When available, Chat protects message content with end-to-end encryption. Connection and device metadata still support operation, and material you submit in a report is available to authorised staff. Do not assume encryption, temporary content or a verification label guarantees privacy against the recipient or makes an offline meeting safe.

Respect other people and the service

Do not use BLUBO for harassment, threats, stalking, coercion, scams, impersonation, exploitation, discrimination, illegal activity or deceptive requests for money. Do not seek to contact minors through the service. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited.

Do not share another person's intimate material or private information without permission. Do not upload unlawful material, spam, malicious files or content that infringes another person's rights. Do not scrape profiles, harvest contact details, bypass restrictions or manipulate verification and security controls.

Profile photographs must represent you accurately. Creative photo tools do not change your verification status. Respect another person's audience choices, block or decision to end contact.

Photos publish after automatic malware, image-format and integrity checks. These checks do not judge image content or prove identity or age. Staff can review published photos and remove content that breaks these rules. Members can report a profile or photo at any time.

Your content

You retain the rights you have in your content and must have permission to submit it. By submitting content, you give Blubo Ltd permission limited to storing, processing, formatting and displaying content as needed to provide the feature you use, follow audience choices, conduct moderation and meet lawful obligations.

This does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated advertising with your profile, messages or verification information. Promotional use identifying a member needs separate agreement. Removing content or closing an account ends ordinary use, subject to justified retention explained in the member privacy notice.

Reports and account decisions

Use an available in-app reporting tool or contact support. Provide only necessary evidence. BLUBO may restrict content or account access where required by its rules, eligibility checks, security concerns or lawful obligations. Where appropriate, the member should receive a reason and an appeal route.

Account, content and privacy concerns can be sent to the support email below. Published support hours and guaranteed response times have not been established. BLUBO does not monitor offline meetings or provide emergency response.

What this release includes

Account access includes email registration, Google or Apple sign in when offered, a private profile, photograph submission and account controls. Participation includes discovery, matching, profile reveal, Moments and encrypted Chat when their controls are enabled and your account is eligible. Optional generic push notifications require their own preference and device permission. Availability is shown in the app; accepting these terms does not activate a feature or complete a required check.

You can browse listed events and mark interested or going. Other members see counts, not attendee names. This does not reserve admission or issue a ticket. Paid subscriptions, BLUBO event ticket checkout and live ads remain disabled in this release configuration. View-once sending and disappearing chats are free during this beta where supported. This does not create a paid subscription. Paid visitor history and paid private browsing are not sold in this release. There is no live purchase offer or price in these terms. Future sales need their own available benefits, price, billing, cancellation and refund disclosures before payment can start.

BLUBO does not promise a match, a relationship, uninterrupted availability or that a person or meeting is safe. No part of these terms removes a legal right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving BLUBO and getting help

You can stop using the service or request account deletion. Uninstalling the app or signing out is not account deletion. The deletion request includes associated data and provider copies, subject to any explained, justified retention. Ordinary account access closes when you confirm deletion in the app; staff then review and process the remaining steps.

You do not need to pay or buy a subscription to create an account, use available blocking and reporting controls or request account deletion.
